The Captain

My whole life I’ve been a gladesman, a term we use in south Florida for a local who frequents the Florida Everglades. I’ve watched this place evolve and change with time, from the invasion of the pythons eating all the small mammals, the changes in water flow, the declination of deer numbers and many more demises of the Everglades. Every Tour we take is Truly a brand new adventure. Being in the middle of the River of Grass is an Experience I love sharing with others. Every moment is a surprise at what we will encounter. The native wildlife is constantly moving through the marshy grass prairies, drier tree islands and even overhead through the skies. Endangered Florida Panthers, Explorative black Bear, deer, turtles, small mammals of all kinds, snakes, lizards and many more reptiles and animals all call this National Treasure its home. As these years have gone by, I have come to want to show what’s left and tell its story through my eyes and so I opened Airboat Adventure Everglades. To bring people who want to learn and see Florida for what is really is. Come with me on an adventure of a lifetime and see REAL Florida!

Airboat Adventures Everglades offers private airboat tours in the true Everglades, guided by real Gladesmen who grew up in the River of Grass. Based in Miami Florida, we take guests deep into the wilderness to experience native wildlife, open marsh, and the natural beauty of the Everglades far from the tourist crowds.

Our team is dedicated to conservation, invasive species removal, and wildlife rescue. Every private tour supports our mission to protect the Everglades and helps fund hands on education programs for children in the Miami area. Guests also have the opportunity to visit our private wildlife rescue and learn why preserving this ecosystem matters.

We provide an authentic Everglades experience rooted in respect for the land, the wildlife, and the culture of the Glades. When you ride with us, you are supporting real conservation and seeing the Everglades the way only locals can show it.
